Counseling and Medical Care

Health screening benets the overall health of the child. The children's health is regularly monitored by the Family Physician. The routine checkups are done with utmost care every fortnight. The yearly check up of the children is done at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, Wardha. Medical Records of every child is maintained with all the necessary pathology and vaccination reports. The children are counseled by our inhouse Counselor on regular basis about hygiene,behavior, etc. Regular workshops are conducted on adolescence, personality devlopment,career guidance, etc.

Computer Education

An essential aspect of early learning is the use of modern technology to teach children to make them aware about the world. Digital learning allows children to expand their mind by encouraging exploration through technology. A special Computer Lab has been developed for the children to provide exposure to the IT world.The children also watch educational movies and play games to sharpen their skills. With the interest in computer education imbibed early in the children, many of them are pursuing higher studies in computer Education.

Recreation & Sports

Recreation & Sports are the activities where children get the opportunity to enhance the positive physical, mental, emotional and social development. Sports has a powerful issuance on the overall personality of children. Keeping this in mind, we give ample opportunities to the children to participate in sports competitions. They participate in Summer Camps where they learn swimming, cricket, chess and other games. Recreation activities like picnics to Sewagran, Ramtek etc. and long tours like Goa are arranged for better exposure. To develop their creative side, art workshops are arranged like sculpture making, pottery & other art forms. Music plays a vital role in the psychological development of the Children. Hence, regular training of Musical Instruments like Table, Drum, Synthesizer, etc is given on regular basis.

Workshops by Experts & Interaction with Prominent Personalities

Professors, prominent personalities of Nagpur like Shri Shashankji Manohar, Shri Vedprakashji Mishra & others have given their valuable guidance to our children. Television Superstar of Yesteryears and currently, HRD Minister , Smt. Smruti Irani has also visited Sadan and interacted with the children. Cricketers like Shri Mahendra singh Dhoni, Shri Dinesh Kartik, Shri Shrisant have interacted with children. Apart from this many other famous personalities from different facets of life have interacted with Ashram children like Shri Shekhar Suman, Shri Sudhir Dalavi, Smt Savita Malpekar, Shri Sonu Sood (Actor), Shri Raju Shrivastava (Comedy Actor), Dr. S. N. Pathan (Chancellor Nagpur University), Shri Jayant Patil, (Ex Finance Minister, Maharashtra State), Shri.Nitinji Gadakari (Minister,Central Govt. of India),Late Shir Gopinathrao Munde (Ex Minister), Shri Chetan Bhagat (Writer), Shri Harshwardhan Patil (Sahakar Mantri Maharashtra State) and Smt Sindhutai Sapkal (Social Worker).

Celebration

To develop the social and cultural side of the children, many social events like Birthday celebrations, Founders Day, Fund Raising Events like Charity Shows, Cultural Fests, where children perform dances, dramas are organized. This gives them a platform and an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Management appointed a Music Teacher for to teach different types of musical instruments to inmates in sat and Sunday.

Picnic / Tours

The Ashram arranges Religious and other interesting tours for children to gain additional knowledge. Picnic is arranged for them to have a change from routine life. In addition to picnic industrial visit to small and large factories and arranged.
